Terms of Service

Effective Date: 5th june, 2025

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of EventsGrid, including all services, features, and applications we offer. By using the platform, you agree to these terms.

1. Account Responsibilities

  • You must be 18 years or older to use EventsGrid.
  • You are responsible to maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • You must not share your account with others or impersonate another user.

2. Use of the platform

    You may Use EventGrid to:

  • Browse, create, or attend events.
  • Purchase and manage tickets.
  • Communicate with organisers or attendees.

    • You agree to use EventGrid lawfully and not to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
  • Upload harmfull or misleading content.
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other user.
  • Attempt to disrupt or exploit the platform.

3. Organizer Terms

    if you are an organizer:

  • You are responsible for the accuracy of your event content, pricing, and schedule.
  • You must fulfill all services promised to attendees.
  • You agree to process refunds according to your stated policy and local consumer protection laws.
  • EventsGrid may deduct fees and hold funds temporarily for fraud prevention or verification.

4. Payment/Payouts

  • Tickets payments are processed securely through trusted third-party gateways.
  • Payouts to organizers occur after KYC and bank account verification and may be subject to transaction fees or holding periods. (After ticket sales close).
  • EventsGrid is not responsible for failed payments due to inaccurate bank details or third-party service issues.

5. Cancellations/Refunds

  • Organizers are to set thier refund and cancellation policies.
  • Attendees should contact the organizer directly for any refund requests.
  • EventsGrid may intervane only if there is proven abuse, fraud, or violation of terms.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All content, branding, and software on EventsGrid is the intellectual property of EventsGrid or its licensors.
  • You may not copy, modify, or modify, or distribude platform content without permission.

7. Suspension/Termination

    We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access if you:

  • Violate these terms or applicable laws.
  • Submit fraudulent information or conduct abusive behavior.
  • Use the platform in ways that risk system integrity or others user's safety.

8. Limitation of Liability

    EventsGrid provides its platform "as is" without warranties, We re not liable for:

  • Damages resulting from event cancellations, fraudulent organizers, or attendee conduct.
  • Technical, data loss, or service interruptions that are beyond our control.

9. Suspension/Termination

  • We may update these terms periodically. Users will be notified vie email or platform whenever any changes are made.
    Continued use of EventsGrid after such updates constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
